This training device presents a variety of additional challenges that students may encounter in the real world, including intubation, ventilation, and suction techniques on a nonanesthetized patient. The model includes realistic anatomical landmarks including the teeth, tongue, and more, allowing practice of a variety of techniques. Oral, nasal, and digital intubation can be demonstrated, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., Combitube, and KING System insertion. Realistic practice of the Sellick maneuver is also possible by applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage. This manikin is durable, rugged, and features one piece construction and bifurcated lungs.
