The system is designed on the basis of clinical training and teaching needs. It combines VR technology with force feedback technology. It highly represents clinical puncture scenario and provides a virtual patient with clear anatomical landmarks. Six major puncture operation can be conducted by using the platform - thoracentesis, abdominocentesis, lumbar puncture, bone marrow aspiration, pericardiocentesis, and thyrocricocentesis.
